Your Support is Important!
Part of the criteria for a strong National Marine Sanctuary Nomination includes demonstrating broad-based community support.
To this end we will be including approximately 100+ Letters of Support from area organizations and businesses,
as well as approximately 20 Resolutions of Support from local municipalities and governing bodies.
Templates for Resolutions and Letters of Support can be downloaded below.
Please, DO NOT SEND your letter directly to NOAA.
We will be compiling all Letters of Support and submitting them formally as a part of the NMS nomination packet.
Completed, Signed Letters of Support and Final Resolutions should be mailed to:
